Default Blackbooks?

Greetings everyone, I have a question about what kind of books we read. I noticed that the majority of the books that are read and written about through the posts on this site are the pro black books by black authors. I opened the Isis papers, as my friend let me borrow, and I didn't feel much love coming from the words on the pages (papers). True I didn't read the entire book, nor did I read a significant portion, but what I did read (the part about her Cress Theory) was not where I wanted to go with my personal development. Does anyone who has read the entire book think that she might hate white people? Let me ask this question. Why is it that we devote most of our reading to black perspectives and opinions? Or is there anyone who has read something else just as valid and would like to bring that to light?
