We as black people are some strong curious intellegent people. Only we, as a people can take a name, that was meant to degrade us, defile us and humilate us, spin it around and make it a term of endearment.Negative turned positive. Some things dont' change..but other things do. If you dont' see things the way I do, doesn't make it wrong...its just a difference of opinions. Some people see the word ***** and it means, my brother, my blood, my people. Other people hear the word ***** and see ******. I see two very different words here. Its when we let this word defile us, degrade us and humilate us, is when this word becomes of its true essence...hate. In no way am I saying that its roots arn't vicious and vile...but we have a history and lets not continue to let that same evil from years and years ago still pull us down now.
