Why is it that sistas who ordinarily look good
Where far less clothing than they should
Walkin down the street practically naked
Thinkin that's the only way a brotha will take it

Do our sistas need the attention so bad
That they'd sacrifice the dignity and respect they once had?
With their shirts cut low and their shorts cut high
Showin off their goods just to catch a brothas eye

And they wonder why Their relationships don't last
Cuz they walk, talk, and **** too fast

Slow down sistas
Open ya eyes look and listen
When I tell ya these brothas are far from extinction

And know that my intentions
Were not to lecture or preach through this poem
I just thought you should know
You should put some clothes on!
