Default Gpa

Okie doke....I have around a 3.0 with many honors classes. I've been taking honors classes since 9th grade. I am now a senior. I have only had two bad grades in my honors courses but they are both passing grades.

My question is: GPA Recalculation.

1. How do they recalculate it?
2. Does your GPA a go up when they recalculate if and you've taken honors classes?***
3. Does admissions tell you what you new GPA is when reviewing your application?
