Ugly Scene in Detroit

any other time i'd put this in the sports thread, but i want to say that the people of Detroit who were involved in this scene are some punk ass *******.... :evil: :!: :evil:

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- Indiana's Ron Artest and Stephen Jackson charged into the stands and fought with fans in the final minute of their game against the Detroit Pistons on Friday night, forcing an early end to the Pacers' 97-82 win.

The game was stopped with 45.9 seconds remaining when a pushing and shoving between the teams spilled into the stands after fans began throwing things at the players near the scorer's table.

``It's the ugliest thing I've seen as a coach or player,'' Pistons coach Larry Brown said.

After several minutes of players fighting with fans in the stands, the Pacers were pelted with beer, ice, and popcorn as they made their way to the locker room in one of the scariest brawls in an NBA game.

The Palace announcer said the game was being stopped and pleaded with fans not to throw things.

that's a damn shame... :evil: don't blame Artest for goin into the stands after having that beer thrown on you

yo im gonna agree wit u on that.the fans that were involved were some punks. they know they wouldnt have done it face to face to artest.but at the same time some fans did get hurt by that b***h ***** stephen jackson who didnt even do anything. all i gotta say is not all detroit fans are like that.u gonna have some assholes in the crowd every time.but detroit still run this ish.thats how we do.see us in tha playoffs when it really matters....look at the sig!!!

Man I'm mad that u beat me to this I was tyrin to post this before someone else did.

I told ya'll that Ron is CRAZY

I'm from Indianapolis, we knew this for a while but, I don't blame him doin' what he did, he's real, straight outta Queensbridge

You ain't goin' just throw some beer on him and expect him to be cool about that.

But, the worst part is that he's goin to be suspended for the rest of the year.

Oh well always next year Boys

i don't think he should be suspended for the year for self-defense... he was just sittin there mindin his business, then has a beer thrown on him, **** i'd go up there and fight too... but like Stephen A. Smith said, it's gonna be real interesting to see how the league handles this...

:lol: yeah, and i'ma huge Pacers fan (since i was 8) and i didn't think the foul was that hard, at least it ain't look like it... and that shove started everything... :arrow:
