Default FAMU Football shutting down?
I know this should be in the sports, but what the hell happened?

FAMU Financially Shuts Down Football Program

FAMU Football has been financially shut down. Athletic Director Dr. Ramsey met with head coach Billy Joe on Monday and told him that the FAMU Football program will not be allowed to spend any money in 2005, nor will they be allowed to have a recruiting class for the upcoming season. Coach Joe will also be forced to play in 2005 without a defensive coordinator. As of now, Billy Joe will coach FAMU for next season, but he will wait to make a final decision about his future at the school. Coach Joe's contract expires December 31st, 2006.

LOL So much for FAMU talking all that ****..."We goin D-1"..."we own Black College Football"...then you take asswhippings from Illni...a damn Bottom of the Pile Big 10 team...it must suck selling it...but it has come back on you guys

kinda funny....but it's not...I feel sorry for the players :-\....if they win next season it will show FAMU's character....good luck rattlers ::snicker::

the main reason i'm applying to FAMU and nominated it my first choice is because of the MARCHING BAND and music education program!!!!!!
