Default College B-Ball thread

J.J. Redick from Duke can BALL HIS ASS OFF for real. I was watchin the Duke/G.Tech game saturday, and I noticed that he had the best looking shot I've ever seen in my LIFE. They almost ALL went in, too. He reminds me of Reggie Miller...with with a pretty shot/follow thru. He'll be BIG in the NBA if he can learn when/when not to shoot.

He averages 22 ppg, and his 3pt % is at like .427.

Duke also has a PF named Sheldon Williams. He reminds me of Karl Malone with Charles Barkley's jumps. He's listed at 6'9" 250. So far, he averages 16ppg, 12Rpg, and almost 4 blocks/game.

Daniel Ewing (same team) averages 15ppg. He's listed at 6'3" 185. If you can remember this far back...he reminds me of Hershey Hawkins. He can get explosive, tho....something Hershey never really did.

Boston College and Illinois are the only remaining undefeated teams in college hoops, but its looking to be a really competitive postseason...and my Crimson Tide are doing good this year also. Alabama A&M is 8-2 at this point, and they'll probably end up 1st in the SWAC.

Here's the AP Top 25

1. ILLINOIS (72) 23-0
2. NORTH CAROLINA 19-2
3. KANSAS 18-1
4. BOSTON COLLEGE 20-0
5. KENTUCKY 17-2
6. WAKE FOREST 19-3
7. DUKE 17-2
8. SYRACUSE 21-2
9. LOUISVILLE 20-3
10. OKLAHOMA ST 17-3
11. WASHINGTON 19-3
12. ARIZONA 19-4
13. MICHIGAN ST 15-4
14. GONZAGA 17-4
15. UTAH 19-3
16. OKLAHOMA 17-4
17. ALABAMA 17-4
18. PITTSBURGH 15-4
19. CONNECTICUT 14-5
20. WISCONSIN 15-5
21. CINCINNATI 17-5
22. VILLANOVA 13-5
23. TEXAS 15-6
24. PACIFIC 18-2

/me points out that OU is the best Football/BBall combo in US

JJ Redneck is a ball hog...he pisses off The Cameron Crazies all the time and he is inconsistent with his shot

Trajan was teh raw...but he shouldnt have had the ball in his hands in the National Championship game.....but the best person who has had "Lang" in his name @ l)00l< was my cousin Antonio :-D

Whats new?

I shouldn't talk. Alabama hasn't exactly been dominant since Wimp Sanderson left.

J.J. is a ballhog, but the boy can shoot. He's still rough around the edges, as far as sharing the ball and not taking dumb shots....as he gets a little more mature on the court, I think everything can fall into place for him.

Korver has about 4 or 5 inches on Reddick, in the league Reddick would more then likely have to play the point, which he cant do, he cant defend to save his life. the only way he can make it in the league is bein that guy that comes off the bench when u need a couple of 3 balls.
