Default For All My Bush Supporters. . .

The following is the list of all the programs Bush plans to eliminate for 2006. After reading this I really can't see how anyone who isn't wealthy and has a brain could even think to continue to support Bush  It's long but I highlighted some important ones that particulary affect us and our future families. I'm a Democrat first off...but don't listen to 90% of the crap either party says on the air. Clinton put 92 of those programs names up for cancellation, so please don't go putting all the flak on Bush.

Whoa whoa, I'm not pro either party, but I am anti Bush. And while these programs may not all be eliminated they do run the risk of being eliminated. And considering how dumb people have been lately, and considering who leads the majority in Congress, I wouldn't doubt that some of these programs actually end up being eliminated especially with
the defecit being as large as it is right now a lot of things are going to have to go. And also on the subject of the programs being useless, thas bs because no matter whether it affects you directly it affects someone. Particularly the potential loss of departments because a lot of people would lose their jobs. I'll lastly I'll blame Bush for whatever I want

Scratch that.

Those are government funded programs, run by government workers, who by in turn, work for the state. Do a little research on what happens when you work for the state and the government ends a gov't program.

As to them being useless, I can find a list of atleast 10-13 different organizations that soak up less money that do the same thing. The Gov't is finally realizing that they just can't pass anything that looks good on paper, like all of these organizations. A majority of these programs have duplicates. And triples.

I say thumbs up on finally getting this done.

Thumbs down on where the money is going.

Oh, and by the way. Why do you expect the gov't to raise money, and when they start everyone cries about how it's hurting them and others? If the gov't needs money there are 2 things to do. (A) Lower spending. (B) Raise taxes.

Regardless of what you, I, or anyone else thinks, it is GOING TO HAPPEN at some point because of Bush's ridiculous spending past.

So, in the entire essence of this post, I'm saying you should be doing this. DO not complain about how the money is being raised, complain about where it is going.

Then, you've got yourself an argument.

When I talk about people losing jobs, I'm talking about the termination of specific departments not programs. And trust me I live in DC and I know tons of people whose parents work for the U.S. government through these departments so I know how it works.
And secondly with this post I'm not "complaining" about how money is being raised, I'm passing on information that I saw that I thought was important for young people, specifically minorities and the nonwealthy, to know and pay attention to. And I shouldn't only be concerned about where the money is going, ie. Bush's bullshyt No Child Left Behind proposition, but also where the money if being taken from because it's just as important. That's like saying be concerned about something only after it's done and not while it's in the process of taking place.

Posts always turn funny when somebody thinks they know every damn thing

Tax Hikes?...that's already happened and lower spending?...ummm we spend Millions a day(not to mention we are still 500 billion in debt) in the middle east fighting about 2 diff wars....1, i only care about 1...Iraq means nothing to me :-\......by the way, I'm kinda glad Bush is in office..it makes blacks/hispanics/white trash get off their asses and go to work unlike Clinton where he gave handouts to everyone...More Blacks in College,More Blacks have ownership of things,More blacks out the slums and into homes.

When you give an opinion to where the money is going...such as "thumbs down"....that seems like complaining to me Thunder
