Default Famous Hamptonians

I was reading Ebony Magazine when I came across the article, 'The Black College Harvest: graduates have transformed America'. I was reading this list of extraordinary HBCU graduates when I saw a Hamptonian misrepresented. Wanda Sykes was on page 124 and named as a Spelmanite when most know that she is Hamptonian. I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this faux pas. And she graduated not with a B.A. it was a BS in Marketing.

Does DJ Envy count? And if Ashanti and Raven Simone ever decide to show up,then you can add them.

I know a lot of famous peoples children go to HU i.e; Steve Harvey's daughters

Did any of you get the free hbcu CD when you went to a black college fair? Almost all the success stories were Hamptonians. They may not be famous but they are CEOs, doctors, lawyers, and engineers

Now that CTeazy brought up the Ebony issue that was the black college issue(wit Jadda Pinkett-Smith on the cover) did anyone notice that there really wasnt much said about Hampton, but schools like Howard, A & T and another school got a lot of stuff said about them, n had more advertisements for the school?

Well let's not forget that Hampton had a whole spread in the magazine (atleast 4 pages) last year sometime. We can't be greedy....we must share the spotlight every once in a while!
