I LEARNED THAT HAMPTON IS NOT AS BAD AS WHAT I THOUGHT IT WAS IN THE BEGINNING. IT JUST TOOK AWHILE FOR ME TO GET INTO THE SWING OF THINGS. I MET SOME PRETTY GOOD FRIENDS THAT I WILL KEEP IN CONTACT WITH FOR MANY YEARS TO COME. I HAVE RUN INTO THE OCCASIONAL STUCK UP PERSON, MOSTLY HAVE BEEN GUYS NOT GIRLS BUT UMM, YEAH I LIKE IT HERE BUT I HAVE TO LEAVE FOR PERSONAL REASONS. I WILL BE BACK NEXT FALL THOUGH

Hmmmm...I have learned that you cannot trust everyone. A lot of times, not all of the time, people really do not have your best interest at heart. This was a really hard thing for me to deal with, especially coming from Down South where I thought everyone was nice and honest.
I have met a lot of really great people who I am sure will become good friends over the years.
I have learned to procrastinate and it is really good to know your professors.
I have also learned that I am a pretty dependant person and a lot of the things I have learned will make me stronger and wiser person in the end.
I have also learned that HIU is what you make of it. I was so bored in the beginning of the year because I was constantly comparing Hampton back to ATL. I learned the two are not even fair comparisons. ONce I stopped comparing them, I enjoyed my time here even though I wanted to transfer. Lol. Be back later with more.

I guess i should answer my own person. This semester, I have learned a lot of things about myself. I have learned that I am completely, and utterly tired of school. For some apparent reason, I just don't wanna my work. I find every single reason not to do it, and I wait until the last minute to get it done. It's not good, but alas, maybe next semester will be better. I am so ready to graduate.

Since first coming to Hampton in the Fall, this place has kinda become my new home, and all the great people I've met so far have become family. I've definitrly grown as a person since coming here, and hope that I wll continue to grow as my career at Hampton continues. I look forward to meeting many more great people here, and hope I can help incoming freshman realize what alot of you guys already said.....Hampton like a lot of things in life, is what you make it.
school sucks.... not Hampton u... but school in general..lol
