I'm glad someone else agrees with me that Flyy Girl SUCKED ASS!!! It was just they typical story of some little hepha tryin to grow up too damn fast, I give it 3 thumbs DOWN!!!

On to better things....EJD's book The Other Woman was a good one, I really enjoyed it.

Default E. Lynn Harris Books...

Now I guess I am the only one here but I have to stand up for my man (although he is gay)...

I have loved EVERY SINGLE ELH book I have ever read...and I have read all of them...DreamGirl...You must read them in order..."Invisible Life" is first...Then "Just As I Am"..."Abide With Me"..."If This World Were Mine" (#3 and #4 may be switched in order)..."Not A Day Goes By"..."Any Way The Wind Blows"..."A Love Of My Own"

Now if you are homophobic, please open your mind and read these books anyway...I am a straight female but I found them just as enjoyable...The fact that he keeps using the same characters while building on their behaviors and introducing new ones will make you feel like you are there and have grown up with these people. I thoroughly enjoyed all of his book and own most of them...His memoires are kinda sad but once you read "What Becomes of the Broken Hearted", you better understand why he writes about the situations in his "Invisible Life" series.

BTW...Even though he is gay, ELH writes about a male/female relationship (Basil and Yancy) as if he is the man...And you never know, he might have been since he was bi-sexual at one time and so is Basil.

I like both writers, I like books both of them made but I also dislike some of them, for example I really didn't like Thieves Paradise from EJD, and I was let down with If This World were Mine by ELH. I guess it goes like that with some books. 8)
