Me aND MY SISTER LOVE READING AND WE HAVE OUR OWN BOOK CLUB OVER AT WAYNE STATE UNI BUT THE HUSTLERS WIFE AND TRUE TO THE GAME ARE TWO MUST READ BOOKS i FEEL IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THOSE BOOKS THAN YOU PROB HAVEN'T READ THE COLDEST WINTER EVER OR FLY GIRL :P THOSE ARE LIKE THE BEST BOOKS EVER MADE i THNK THEY SHOULD MAKE THEM INTO MOVIES!

^^ Cosign, I liked Fly Girl and The Coldest Winter Ever a lot, but I've read some really good books, although I couldn't get into A Hustler's Wife, but my sister liked True to the Game.

to me its horrible--it has nothing on true to the game- at least True to the Game was well written and thought out

A hustlers wife has so many grammatical errors, it seem s like Niki is trying hard to sound smart..I'm like come on black people--if you going to write a book make it good, well thought and EDITED!!!! :roll:

Now The coldest Winter Ever was the first book in that genre I read and I LOVED IT<---more books need to be as raw, real and captivating as that book

Child of God (crazy, about incest, witchery and all that, but good)

yeah 2 yrs ago my cuzzin was tellin me that they were going to put the coldest winter ever into production--I was like they need to
He even said they were thinking of having Jada pinkett playin Winter but i dont see it
some1 like that chick who played in the Players club should (i forget her name)...
but I guess their not gonna make a movie cuz I havent heard a thing about it

yea I heard that too, but they've been talking about making it into a movie for years, I think they'll eventually do it, but I don't think Jada would be right for the part maybe Bianca Lawsonor Kyla Pratt.
