Try Michelle McKinney Hammond, she puts out really good Christian books geared towards African American Women

I agree with her. There is a book called Passing by Samaria and the Revelation of Heaven. And Jesus and the Hip Hop Prophets. I'll try to get some more for you.

Are you familiar with Mensa Otabil? He has a very excellent book to encourage Christians, especially including those of African descent: Four Laws of Productivity. Highly recommended.
