I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE SECOND BOOK AND THE MOVIE!
I read it back in highschool and was like "damn". I don't think any other book has done that for me, lol. But I am a major advocate of Keke Palmer playing Winter...Keke has that spunk and I agree that Mekhi would make an excellent Midnight.

yea but ppl that are 20/30 sumthin will play high schoolers in tha movies. but i see ur point..wat about tyrese for midnight? haha. i dont kno...mekhi would do a good job too i think..

Yeah they are but I don't like to encourage Hollywood's "reaching" so I'd rather keep it close. lol Besides, you see what it did for Nick Cannon's career. He's about 70 and still fightin for a spot on the drumline! I don't think I could see him in a serious role.

I thought about Tyrese playing the part but it's like we're typecasting him as a thug so I chose somebody else. Midnight may be an intellectual thug but he's still a thug nonetheless.
