But, its all good. You have said some positive stuff. That keeps applying as you get older. Sleeping around is not cool. Being pressured into sex is not cool. I didn't make it past highschool, but I wish I had made better choices. At 32 I tend to agree with you, an hour of passion is not worth all of the emotional baggage that you, young lady, will be dealing with indefinately. At 32 I could tell you that my family, friends, extended family, career and making a difference is so far ahead of guys I can't tell you when I will have a date, much less consider sex. KEEP YOUR ATTITUDE! There is so much that you can accomplish at Spellman, UCLA or where ever YOU CHOSE to wind up.

I can only hope my daughter has your mindset. Peace!

It's not the same thing. You didn't make the choice, the choice was made for you if that is the case. Not discounting the issue in itself, but rape is not the same thing as you compromising. If you are serious about that, You couldn't control what happen, you can only control how you heal and how you react next.

Your situation it totally different than what we were discussing. "having sex" on your own accord, and being forced to are not nearly one in the same.
