Condoms are a must before sex. If you don’t have protection, you should just wait. If you are sexually active, you should keep a supply, male and female. As far as talking about condoms with your partner, you should talk about using protection before you get intimate. There should be a clear understanding that you would like to have protected sex. If you can’t communicate with each other about protected sex, you should wait.
