This is for the record ladies. A real man will not blame his ignant ass father for him being sorry or for not taking care of his own kids. Also, I am tired of fellas talking about how their life was so bad because their father was not there. **** him feed him fish. The only thing I got from my father was my name and a coloring book for my 16th birthday. I feel that it takes credit away from all the single moms who raised college educated or otherwise successful kids when someone yells i wish my dad was there. My mom was my dad and mom and she was all I needed. It might be a good thing that he wasn't there... at least his lying, cheating, criminal minded ass wasn't there to badly influence me. When ever you feel like you wanna blast away at a deadbeat dad, use the energy in a positive way and call your moms and tell here you love her. Peace out.

Good message, I now have a family, My wife and my 13 month daughter. I all tell my parnters this one thing though, " Every woman that you sleep with has a chance of being a part of your life for the rest of your life [ie baby momma], whether you want her there or not. So marinate on that one for a minute.

that was soo true...alot of people feel the need to blame the fact that their fathers werent in their lives on why they are the way they are.... as a child I always looked at my father and learned from what he did to my mother and knew that's not how i want to be...my brothers did the same...you're better off learning from others' faults instead of taking them and doing the samething...

This may be a great message, but this is a subject that so many males have heard over and over and over again. Sorry, but I just believe that males will do what they want and nothing anyone can really say to change their mind...

I really do feel u on this one. My nephew's father isnt around. He comes ober on christmas, and thats only because its his son's birthday. Other than that he doesnt see him. It really pisses me off because me nephew and I are very close and it hurts me deeply to see him hurting. I've personally asked his dad to not come around anymore, but he still does. My nephews growin up now and he's starting to realize whats going down. He's slowly startin to hate his father. So fellas, this is what happens when u abandon yo seed. The tend to hate u.
