Me, personally, I think I would feel sort of weird making more than my man. I'm old-fashioned and I think the man should be head of household and that includes making more than me. I also like the feeling of a "manly, man". Most men, admittedly or not, feel like punks if their woman is making more than them(unless they are a gigolo or something) and I don't want something so small like that, cause a big rift in our relationship. In reality it does.

I mean, some situations you just control and where his path leads and where my path leads, cause you really can't say "oh can you make my pay higher cause I want my man to make more than me" but like demmeri said, he might have to up his game a lil.

If i make more money than him, there would be nothing i could do about. If there is a problem on his side...thats his problem not mine. I will not fit into a box just to try and please people.

^^see thats the problem right there.a lot of women like to say that if a dude doesnt feel like hes a man because shes making more than him or anything else similar to that, then hey he has to deal with it.but when a woman doesnt feel like shes being the woman that shes supposed to be, then we cant say **** it and just move on.

now i dont htink i would have a huge problem with my wife making the most money so long as i have my own job and im making some bread of my own.but if she is making more money shes gotta be payin some bills as well.

This brings up women's lib & Black women. What is woman's lib to us when we've always been either equal or, most of the time, made more than our men for years. We've also been working ever since Black women arrived in this country. So what is women's lib to us?
