I gotta agree with what's already been said. Promiscuity is the product of the flesh.

The media is an outlet that does affect men, but all this is, is a more outward show of what's already a temptation to men. Before the media even existed we [males] were "thirsty".

We're like this because of our mindset, which is determined by what we allow to lead us. If we adopt a mindset that desires to become closer to God, staying prayerful, watchful, and in the word of God, then that and all that it comes with inhabits our mind. Just from witnessing it, it's a huge difference and the temptation that usually would easily sway someone, wouldn't phase them.

We act on our most dominant thoughts which are determined by our mindset and what we are led by.

I think it's a product of the flesh and also media only makes it worse. I hate when guys be like " I wanna know what I'm doin when I meet my wife"
but then one girl and one time becomes more than that...sex is addictive, I've had too many people tell me that. Maybe it's me, but I don't want a guy that's been around the block. I mean, if I've been saving myself for my husband and waiting, why shouldn't he do the same? I mean he's worth the wait, and I want the same recognition that I'm worth the wait as well...

IMHO, I think promiscuity goes beyond the flesh. Sex is a product of a natural instict to conquer.

I believe it is mans natural instinct, it is mans ID (most basic instincts), to gain power, confidence and control in life. One way man does this is through his sexual conquests. As most know sex is a powerful weapon and can be used for good or bad. So a man will use sex in order to gain control, or power (in his view) over a woman.... it really can't be about the flesh because if it was man would be able to freak one person, as nasty as he wants too.... but its different when u can have a lot of women..... it shows that you can control or have some "magical" power to get women to drop the panties..... because its the number which matters not the deed....

But thats just my opinion.....
