Its funny somebody posted about this because I had a convo about this the other day. I'm not sure if any of ya'll grew up in single parent households but its a B*tch to have male figures in your life that come and go. Even if its just one or two. As selfish as this sounds I don't want to end up becoming that father figure that her kid becomes attached to and end up hurting the kid if something happens.

Even if I was to become her husband I'd still have to conquer the hurdles of being the father figure without beign the actual father which can get really bad once that kid hits adoloscence.


I'm not saying I wouldn't do it but as somebody who has yet to have sex right now I rather deal with women who is like myself. One of the reasons I chose to wait so I wouldn't end up with kids prematurely.

Even Lyfe talks about it in that song you mentioned. He made some good points in that song. Preferably I'd stay away from the situation all together in most cases but if you are the kind of person that would get in that situation there is a whole new aspect that you would have to consider when get into it... and a lot of added drama and stress on top of a normal relationship.

Messing with women who have kids is kinda dangerous in several situations. It's almost like askin for a broken heart, because most of the time their remain sprung on there baby's father. That's what I know just from seeing it tho.

I don't think most women get sprung on their baby fathers more than they just get caught up in the notion that they would wish that the baby father's could be more like the guy that has come into the child's life and been accepting.

However, we know that having various men stream into the lives of children is not helpful, especially in the sense of bonding with with a male figure. Therefore, a man shouldn't choose to be with a woman that has children unless he's ready to stick it through. I'm pretty sure most college aged men aren't. Most men probably would only look at a woman with a child because they figure sleeping with her would be no problem. I wouldn't get involved with a woman with a child unless I have a child running around with a woman I don't plan to settle down with. I can't exclude in that case.
