In answer to u. The same as I stated above. Get it for yourself. Don't flaunt it and have your tongue hanging all out your mouth. Then your asking for neg. attention.

As long as u dont have a lisp and braces....cuz thats not a good combo. This girl at my school got possesed into thinking she needed yet something else in her mouth so she got a tongue ring to go with her braces and her lisp. I was like whyy, whyy did u do that to urself?? I think tongue rings are cool and just cuz u have one doesnt automatically label u as something....im thinking about getting one. 8)

if this is what u really want then no one can make up ur mind but u...i have female friends get mixed reactions about the tongue ring and like everyone else has pointed out its all about how u carry urself...if u have it u dont have to flaunt it all the time

as for the guys...i have known guys gay and straight to have tongue rings...when it first started yes there were alot more gay guys with them but like all trends it didnt stay that way for long...i know some very very sexy with and without tongue rings...just like for the females its all about how u carry urself

personally i wouldnt get one just because

1. i have braces and thats enuff in my mouth for now

2. i just cant take the pain
