Even Men can bring the Drama

This is the deal. Talking to a guy who was straight up his situation. He had a kid but the mama and him weren't together or so I thought. I was glad that he took the stance to be involved in his child's life and that he was still in school maintaining good grades all set to graduate by the end of the year. Only to find out it's only the half of it and he's really still together with the babies mama, and acts like I should have no problem with this. How can he disprect us both. Fellas is asking for honesty expecting too much?

Most males with kids are in some still involved with their baby's mama because the are so attached to their child. I say this because I have a few friends who have kids and they aren't "with" their baby's mother. In their case the baby's mama will keep the child away from them and they do what they have to to keep her happy so that she won't keep their child away from them.

I don't think that it is right for the mothers to do that but it is sad to say that they do. Most males don't know that if the child's mother keeps the child away from them that they could go through the court and get visitation rights.

You will find the right guy that will be truthful to you and respect you. I haven't had this issue happen to me yet but I have seen it happen to some of my friends and it will be alright.

Sorry to hear that. Like MissT said, there can be other complexities involved.

Regardless, it would have been better to be up front about it... it's not like you weren't going to eventually find out.

that is dirty. my dude has a child but the babies mother doesnt want to be in his life and isn't in his life. but ya he shouldve told you up front that him and his babies mom was still talkin'. at least it would've givin' you tha heads up on tha situation.
