uhhh..i missed da one with Mr. J.L. King...he's a prick neway. Wrote a book that made it sound like every man is on the DL. It only did one good thing; raise awareness. Not in a positive way, but it did raise awareness.
I'd prefer Keith Boykin's book on the DL anyway. Written better and more constructive rather than just a money making book.
Why are men on the DL (and women too, cuz provAKAtive was right)?
Cuz people are scared, immature, and irresponsible. Too scared to admit who they, too immature and too irresponsible to own up to decisions they make. It's sad and I pity people who aren't man or woman enough to juss be themselves & stand up for who they really are. It isn't all their fault. Society plays a role. People want you to be honest bout ur sexuality but want to be rude and/or put you down if you do. Sometimes worse than that. So what do you expect? But oh well, this "phenomena" has been around for a lot longer than a few years so it'll prolly still be around cuz some ppl will always be scared, immature, and irresponsible.
