BET is seriously making us look bad. I'm in aa summer program at Prairie View where there are lot of non blacks and they are constantly asking me "why do y'all dance like that?" They were referring to the ludacris, lil john, usher video "yeah" where they say "bend over to the floor and touch ya toes" and the females bend over in these itty bitty dresses with they booties hangin' out the end and they start vibratin'. I try to get them to understand that not all black females act like that. You have to understand that they're Mexicans who have been in the US for like two years and they're perception of "us" us what they see on the tv. Then to make it worse there's a ghetto group of girls who spend their free time trying to learn these dances. Some of these people are coming to college to study dance so they can be video hoes! It just make me shake my head

it's sad to see and hear how our black men are downgrading us black women by always having to have hoes and show nothing but skin in these videos...can we at least get the kids involved or sumthin different....it's not all about sex and drugs and drinking...
look at missy elliott u don't see her with hoes in her videos..she love the kids, and people be feeling that, that is why she be successful with her stuff...

THANKYOU.....what people dont know is that the music video is FUNDED solely by the artist...even if the artist is just coming out,the bill for the video is taken from the price he was given during contract time...maKES YA THINK HUH???...he basically has a say in every aspect of the video, even though he may use a director for artistic direction...so its their fault who they cast in videos....if kanye can have respectable ladies why not nelly........these trifling hip-hop negroes aint innocent.... :?

i aint say the artist was innocent, but u cant put the blaim solely on the artist. but i really dont think that the video thing is that big of a deal.
