QUESTIONS ABOUT CLARK ATLANTA AND MORRIS BROWN

hey wats up i'm from jersey. i just got accepted to clark atlanta and i think i got into morris brown basically. i wanted to know how the people at these schools act. do they girls really appear like these atl video hoes we see on lil jon videos everyday. are the guys either country as hell or gay as hell like i have heard. also are the people truly as friendly as people are sayin. i'm not a very out goin person so i need to be around some friendly people to make mad friends. when it comes to da dorms is it good to have a roommate. how many is too many or will it even matter. hows greek life with sororities are the girls really cocky like they're always portrayed to be or said to be. which sororitie is best to join and are they goin to make me do something crazy as hell. also how are the attitudes of the guy in frats. so please someone hit me back up with a response as soon as possible. i'm very interested in clark mostly but i'm still considerin morris brown and a few other black schools. o yea what type of food does the caf have at clark and morris brown. do these school have any resturante in the caf like taco bell or mcdonalds lol.

I saw CAU's campus and it doesn't look all that great to me personally. The people are really friendly and they will come and talk to you. I don't go there so don't take things to heart. I just went on a tour. I don't know anything about the Greek life. Sorry. Also, in the cafe they do have fast food.

Morris Brown lost their accreditation so I wouldn't go there if I were you. Just my personal opinion.

Did you WILLINGLY apply to Morris Brown? If so...why?? They're no longer accredited...and if you're just know hearing about this...wow...lol

I would suggest not attending a school without any accreditation. Morris Brown lost it's accreditation so, no students qualify for financial aid. The 100 or so students that are there, pay tuition out of their pockets or from loans. So, at this point that isn't a wise choice.Take it from an alumni of MBC...Anyway, seems like youre asking the wrong questions. The real question should be...Does this potential school have accreditation?!

Wherever you go to school at, people will be people...You will have people who fit so many stereotypes that it really aint necessary for you to worry about if the females are hoes, and the guys are contry or gay...Socially just worry about meeting people with the same interests and likes as you by joining different clubs and organizations. If you do that you wont be concerned about who's gay, and a hoe or country...

Like I said before...its about finding people who are like you and share your interests. When you put 1000s of people together from all over the country you are gonna have lots of different personalities, but like I said...this aint like high school. You not gonna be concerned with other people and their attitudes and they wont be concerned with yours cause you will be into what you into. Anywhere you go in life there are gonna be attitudes that you dont like that you will need to deal with, but its nothing that you or no one else couldnt handle for that matter.

Yes its good to have a roommate...typically in dorms there will be 2 of yall in a room, but depending on the size it could be 3 or 4...but more than likely you will have one other roommate. Having a roommate is important cause they will prolly be one of the first people you meet, and you wanna have someone to chill with as you get to know other students on campus. Just keep in mind when you have a roommate, you are sharing personal space with someone so you should discuss some ground rules between the two of you so there is some understanding of what you and your roomie will and will not tolerate.

First off, Greek life should be the last of your concerns as an incoming freshmen. Secondly, dont get into the whole stereotypical which sorority is best type thing. Over time and through research you may find a sorority which you may think is best for you, but until then dont go to CAU or any college for that matter saying you gonna pledge ABC cause runnin your mouth can get you into trouble. As far as hazing, everyone has heard stories, but Greeks are typically supposed to be non hazing organizations, and thats all that matters. As far as frats and their attitudes...a n*gga is gonna be a n*gga regardless of his affiliation. There are plenty of resepectful guys out there and not so respectful. Just worry about involving yourself with the respectful guys....regardless of whether he is in a frat or not.

Dont go to MBC...like everyone has already said, it is an unaccredited institution, so your degree will be worthless. As far as food is concerned..its cafe food...Never anything to brag about, but as college students we have all had it and still livin. You will get used it, or you will just be eating out all the time.
