The NCAA College Football Thread
Did a quick search through the forum and couldn't find a thread with this topic (most are just limited to black schools), so I made this one. I know its at end of the college ball season, but I just wanna be able to discuss things with other college football fans.
So far in the bowl games this year, there have been lots of comebacks. Just yesterday there were 3 big comebacks. UVA came back against Minnesota from 14-0 to win behind their do-it-all QB, UCLA came back from 22-0 against Northwestern to score 36 unanswered points and go on to win by a score of 50-38 on the strength of two onside kick returns for TDs by the same player, and Missouri came back from a 21-0 halftime deficit to beat Steve Spurrier and the Gamecocks. When you combine that with all the other close games so far, and of course the miraculous last second play that almost went for a TD in the Michigan - Nebraska game, college ball is definitely exciting indeed.
To get some discussion started, who are yalls picks to win the Rose Bowl between Texas and USC? Will Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush prove to be too much for the Longhorn defense to handle, or will Vince Young find a way to win the game using both his arm and his feet?
On a side note, yall need to pay attention to my boy James Davis, the starting true freshman running back for Clemson. He was my high school classmate. Watch him, he's gonna be big.
