What ya'll think?!?

Last night i was thinking about what do i reallly need in college. I know you need your clothes,fan, computer etc., but in the rooms is there any other furniture that you bring or do the rooms come with everything. I kno that you can rent a microfrige, but for the people that have been there what do you think the most important thing to bring is, that the school might not tell ya you really need. Oh and should you bring a Tv stand or something like that?

back in the day if we didn't want a microfride, we could bring a fridge of a certain height....but no microwave....the microwave that are attached to the microfridge are the only microwaves students can have in the dorm rooms
:arrow: If you are assiged to teh quad or the annex.....basically any dorm besides the towers....you will not be able to fit any furniture in your room....so don't worry about stuff like that...I'd say you can bring blow up chairs and those camping chairs....you know, dorm room furniture...
:arrow: you can put your TV on your dresser....or you can bring a stand....whatever..I suggest buying something from Walmart to sit it on

If u don't want the microfridge...or if u don't end up getting one (becuz they do run out quick), yes u can get your own. First semester, i didn't have a fridge, then my mom got me one for Christmas, and my roomate & i shared it. I turned my trunk up vertically, and used it as a stand for my tv. That worked out pretty well. Ummm...if u know u like music, some type of radio is cool, unless u just want to use your comp (if you're bringing one). I don't know if a big huge stereo system is necessary, becuz it will require alot of space (which u won't have).

As far as clothes. Please DO NOT take your whole closet with you. Most of the time, you're going to end up wearing the same things over and over, and the rest will just take up space in your closet. Plus, it'll create hell when you're packing to go home. Take your summer clothes with u now, and then have your parents ship your winter things later on.
