Starting June 7th, you can enter for a chance to win tickets for you and a friend to attend the 2008 ESSENCE Music Festival, by creating a profile on myEMQ, social community, by going to http://my.emqtv.com. Simply register and add a video, audio or written blog, telling us in your creative way why you want to to celebrate the 2008 ESSENCE Music Festival. This package includes a pair of tickets to get access to three nights of exciting performances on July 4th, 5th, and 6th in New Orleans, a 12-month ESSENCE magazine sub scri ption, and an ESSENCE style book and shirt.

Known as the "party with a purpose," the ESSENCE Music Festival is the nation's largest annual gathering of African-American musical talent; featuring an unprecedented three days of cultural celebrations and empowerment seminars and three nights of performances by some of today's greatest African-American artists.
