*~Flashback~*
this is a poem i wrote a lil while ago, its one of my favorites...
*Flashback*
Date:November 22,2001
Time: About 6:00pm EST
Place: Neighboorhood in Northern VA
Im the happiest girl in the world
Terrell, my brother said he would take me to the movies
Im running a little late but its ok
He should be walking home from is friends house now
Ok, its 5:55pm he should be right around the corner
Ill go outside and wait for him
*Sees speeding black car*
Uh-oh wasnt that those fellaz who are out to get my brother
Hmmm...maybe it wasnt, atleast i hope it wasnt
*Hears gun shots and a male voice*
OH MY GOD, Terrell. It was those fellaz.
OH ****, OH MY GOD please Lord tell me that im wrong
*Runs to where screaming was at*
NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, This cant be, There is no way.....

Gunshots fill the night air
Screaming is everywhere
People are running to see what happened
I follow the crowd
Pushing people out of my way
My eyes rest on a body
Covered in blood, thick and red
I fall on the lifeless body
Eyes dripping water like waterfalls
Loud Sirens hustle around the corner
Police officers wrestle me off the body
They carry my brother away and drive to the hospital
My family and I speed up to get there.
I sit in the waiting room
My dads arms around me and patting me
I become blind with tears, but i can hear the doctors voice
I fall on the ground crying, my dad cant pick me up
I go to see the body of my brother
Lying cold and lifeless on the bed
I touch his face and hold his hand
I sing our favorite gospel song "Till We Meet Again"
I rest my head on his chest
And pray to God to watch over my brother up there
At the funeral, I sing "Its So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday"
And at the cemetery, I drop a white roseon his casket
I ask them to open up the top part one more time so i can see him
I give him one last kiss on the cheek and I lay my favorite Teddy Bear right by his side
As they lower down his casket into the 6foot hole, i wave goodbye through tear and I tell him that i will love him, always and forever
We shall see each other again some Day
