John McCain controversy...

So I 've heard multiple stories about him && this lobbyist. Does anybody know the whole story? && if this was waaaaaay back in 2000 or so...Y does it matter now?

They said that he and her were having an affair.

Nobody knows the whole story except for John McCain and the people involved. However, no one has any hard proof. McCain denies it and the person that he is alleged to have the affair with denies it as well. So while it shouldn't matter, in a Presidential election there's all kinds of dirt that comes out that people try to make a big deal about.

Wow. You flew to this one like a moth to flame, didn't you? Beat me my hippie behind to the punch and all. But...I agree. The recent Spitzer scandal in NY proves that wholeheartedly.

So he slept with a hooker, big whoop...why the hell hasn't she been incarcerated or at least charged yet, I do not understand...

That prostitute in the Spitzer scandal is cashing in on all of this exposure. Penthouse is using her in their upcoming issue, and she has other offers as well. If Spitzer gets charged, it will probably be a misdemeanor. I'm sure Hilary Clinton wishes this Spitzer scandal wasn't brought to light. It reminds people of what her husband did while he was in office, and I'm sure she does not want people to be reminded of that. No more corruption is needed, coming out of New York, in the White House!

It's not like that scandal will necessarily hurt her. She stood by Bill Clinton like a 'good wife' despite all he had gone through for something so trivial as an affair. With the emotional angle she's using in her campaign that "I-stand-by-man-no-matter-what" sales pitch might not be so bad.
