I think this was a good decsion. The law shouldn't be used to discriminate against people with different lifestyles, no matter what people may think of it.

Cosigns! I can't wait for it to happen in NY. Do you know the amount of weddings, and therefore FREE food I will be able to get access to? Just playin'. But I really do hope it happens in NY; we claim to be a liberal state, but yet we still deny homosexuals the right to get married.

True. I still don't understand why people are making such a big deal out of it. If you don't want to get married to someone of the same sex, that's fine. But that should not necessarily stop others from doing it. That's their life and they're tryna live it...

I feel that we just took one giant step towards a more libral future by this court decision and I wholeheartedly agree with i*heart*pie and hopes this trend continues into NY. Who are we to step in the way of love, just because it's a different love?
