Arrow Independent majors at Spelman...

I'm considering transferring to Spelman in the next year or so, but realized that they don't have the major that I'm studying right now (Communications). However, they do have an Independent major at Spelman by combining specific classes. Is there anyone on here that has taken this route before??

Also, I'm from DC so how was the overall experience for those out-of-state?

I know that a lot of people interested in communications take supplementary courses at CAU. 70% of students are out of state, so you'll definitely meet other people from DC. My sister was an out of state student at spelman and she loved it. I don't think your overall experience is hindered by being an out of state student.
