It doesn't take too much to spice up a dorm room. I mean you don't want to overdo it because you will be hauling all that stuff home. But a basic color scheme will work. My room was so empty when I got there but, I got a "Moon and Stars" Walmart bed room set and it made my side of the room look comfy. I even had the rug...which was convenient because my feet didn't touch the floor when I got out of bed in the morning. My mom also got me a poster that said reach for the stars. It was cute.

Yea i luvv Winnie the Pooh, so i have a pooh bed set (comforter, sheets and evrythang ), a pooh trashcan, and i even got a pooh rug too. Even though im gonna be a freshman, i know my side of the room is gonna be "Poohed" out.
Awwww...characted themes are great! As u can tell, I love ELMO...so my entire side of the room is going to be filled with Elmo items...from pillows, to a throw, rug, lamp, phone, etc. Two of my other friends did an entire character room using Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh as their characters of choice...but like BeautifulOne said....a basic color scheme may suit u best.

LOL, this makes me think of the show TRADING SPACES: KIDS. It comes on Saturday mornings. Those kids get the hook up. This one little boy had a wall climb and his sister had a 50's themed Soda shop in her room. When I get the money I'm definitely creating a trading spaces type room. Yeah I know...a little off topic.

Ohh man this show is tight, I love how they can take an ordinary room and hook it up. I watch it everytime i get a chance. But it is odd how they never have that many BLACK people Trading Spaces...Thinking... hmmmmmmm. Well anyways yeah that show is tight. Sorry to sway off topic.

Where I stay we can put thumb tacks in the walls and whatnot, so...my room walls are gettin covered with pitures, poetry that I wrote, and some of my favorite poems i didn't write. My Net move is a couple parts of art. I have a thing for that kinda chill room feeling. No matter what...It's ALL BLUE!!
