Okay what i don't get is why do men try to impress some ladies by playing a lot of rap music on a date? Should a male play music such as Musiq, Floetry, and Jaheim or 50, diplomats, Nas on the first date?

I am a dedicated student,who is about business, when it comes down to my education,and social life. I want to be somebody in life,and accomplish my goals, so that when I have children, I can tell them they also can be somebody.
depends on where you go on that first date, you're speaking more along the lines of setting a mood to get comfortable instead of an ACTUAL first date, I mean you could be going to a club or something. So it's dependant upon where u going, what's planned for the evening. Now me I'd play something romantic if we was at the crib chilling, because the music you play or listen to for some reason determines the type of person you are to a woman/man. So I'd go for Jaheim, Teddy Pendergrass, Marvin Gaye, Gerald Levert music if I was going for a romantic, mellowed out atmosphere, if I was trying to get her to dance or something, maybe something like 50 or Diplomats.

It really doesn't matter at all to me. I mean you know I got the Whitney's slow jams mix that I keep in the ride, with the floretry, r. kelly, and silk and all that, but I would also bump my ATL mix, just depending upon my mood---it's not even really destination of the date that matters to me. As long as it's not SILENT. Cause if we are holding good convo, the music is down ANYWAY!!
