New: Match Your Resume to Jobs & Message Real Recruiters

We've been hard at work building new tools to help you land your next role faster — and two of them just went live in your Job Seeker Dashboard. Here's what they do and how to start using them today.

1. Match My Resume to Jobs BETA

Stop scrolling through endless listings. Our new AI job-matcher reads your resume and instantly surfaces the live openings that fit you best — ranked by title, skills, location, and how recently they were posted. Typical match time is under a second.

How to use it:

1. Go to Match My Resume to Jobs.
2. Already have a resume on file? Just tap “Match my saved resume” — no upload needed.
3. Or upload one (PDF, Word, or text, up to 10 MB).
4. Review your ranked matches and apply — or email the list to yourself to review later.

2. Connect With Real Recruiters

Browse the actual recruiters hiring on HBCU Connect and message them directly. Your email address stays private — they reply to you right here on the platform.

How to use it:

1. Open the Browse Recruiters directory.
2. Filter by name, company, or state to find recruiters in your field.
3. Open a recruiter's profile, write a short, professional message, and hit Send Message.
4. Tip: complete your own profile first — the Send button unlocks once it's filled in, and it shows you exactly what's left.
5. Track replies anytime under My Conversations.
